Bridges close the gap that is created by missing teeth. Any bridge is made up of 2 crowns for the teeth on both sides of the gap and a false tooth in between. Bridges help restore a patients smile, ability to chew and help distribute the forces of mastication. Bridges generally take two appointments to complete. The first appointment consists of preparing the patients teeth and taking an impression to send to the lab to fabricate the bridge. The permanent bridge is delivered at the second appointment.
